There's a reason why the Apple iPod video MP3 player continues to be the number one selling
video MP3 player of all time, and it's got nothing to do with having the most features or offering the best sound quality.
The Apple iPod portable mp3 player phenomenal success comes down to being an exquisitely sexy gadget,

the most intuitive and user friendly menu system and the excellent iTunes software that
combines digital music management and content downloads into one easy to use
desktop application.
The classic ipod portable mp3 player named for its adherence to the traditional iPod design. iPod classic mp3 video player
is the 6th generation of Apple hard drive based mp3 video player, and in a surprising break from
convention, the original white ipod classic colour has been put out to pasture in favour of faceplates
in black color ipod classic or silver color ipod classic. The Apple ipod portable mp3 player glossy plastic
finish has also been replaced with anodised aluminium the same material used on the Apple iPod nano
although the backing is still the same scratch prone stainless steel.
There is not too much aesthetic difference between the Apple ipod classic 6th generation and
the 5th generation iPod classic mp3 player portable, the front tapers at the sides and it is
lighter and thinner, but the design is fundamentally the same.
The Apple ipod 6th generation Storage has grown, so it is now available in ipod classic 80GB and 160GB ipod classic
capacities, whereas its predecessor was only available as ipod classic 5th generation 30GB and
80GB Apple ipod 5th generation mp3 player portable.
The biggest change in the iPod classic 6th generation is in ipod digital music player user interface.
Content is still organised by type music , video, photos, podcasts and extras, but half the screen
is now taken up with floating images that

relate to the content you're currently browsing through. In ipod classic music features,
you can take your digital music library and audio collection with you wherever you go.
You use iPod classic by importing songs, audiobooks, video clips movies, TV shows, music videos,
and podcasts into your computer and then adding them to iPod classic. iTunes is the software
application you use with iPod classic. iTunes can sync music,
audiobooks, podcasts, and more with iPod classic. When you connect iPod classic to
your computer, iTunes opens automatically. iTunes also has many other features. You can make your
own CDs that play in standard CD players (if your computer has a CD recordable drive);
listen to streaming Internet radio; watch videos and TV shows; rate songs according to preference;
and much more. To listen to your favourite song from your digital music library on iPod classic,
you first need to get that music into iTunes on your
computer. If you have an Internet connection, you can easily purchase and download digital songs,
music record albums, download audiobooks for ipod, and download music videos online using the iTunes Store.
The other major addition to the ipod classic 6th gen user interface is Cover Flow for browsing through
music record albums, providing a jukebox style lineup of cover art that you can flip through using the iPod classic
clickwheel. Selecting any of the music record albums causes the artwork to flip over and present a list of tracks

album, essentially simulating the process of picking out an music record album in a CD rack and turning
it over to see what songs are on it. Of course, this feature useless if you are not diligent
about adding the
record album art to all of your music. The ipod classic 6th gen supports
MP3 file format, AAC and Audible file formats, Apple Lossless file format, WAV and AIFF file formats. The ipod classic audio and MPEG 4
supports SP file format and H.264 file format for ipod classic 6th generation video player.
iTunes makes the process of ripping audio CDs to electronic format extremely easy, but for
Video Audio quality has never been one of the iPod strong points, but most users will be satisfied with
its playback especially if you are using the supplied ipod classic earphones, which are not
sophisticated enough to highlight its sonic deficiencies. iPod classic 6th generation videos,
on the other hand, look great. The 2.5 inches ipod classic screen with a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels
is just big enough to watch full length video clips movies on without getting a headache.
ipod classic viewing angles are limited on both the horizontal and vertical axis, but the
Apple ipod display is too small to share with someone else anyway.
In ipod classic video features you can watch videos on iPod classic video MP3 file format player or on a
TV connected to iPod classic.
You can view other video files on iPod classic, such as videos you create in iMovie on a
Mac or videos you download from the Internet. Import the video into iTunes, convert it
for use with iPod classic video MP3 player, if necessary, and then add it to iPod classic.
iTunes supports all the video formats that QuickTime supports. You add video clips movies and TV shows to
iPod classic video MP3 file format player much the same way you add songs. You
can set iTunes to sync all video clips movies and TV shows to iPod classic automatically when you
connect iPod classic, or you can set iTunes to sync only selected playlists. Alternatively,
you can manage movies and TV shows manually. Using this option, you can add videos
from more than one computer without erasing videos already on iPod classic.
The iPod classic battery life is phenomenal. Playing a looped library of AAC tracks and with
the screen turned off, ipod classic battery played for 44 hours and eight minutes before ipod
battery shut down. ipod classic battery life for video playback was also impressive at seven hours
and 35 minutes.
In ipod classic 6th generation photo features you can import digital photos to your computer and add
them to iPod classic. You can view your photos on iPod classic or as a slideshow on your TV.
You can import digital photos from a digital camera to your computer, and then add
them to iPod classic for viewing. You can connect iPod classic to a TV and view photos
as a slideshow with music. You can add photos to iPod classic from a folder on your hard disk. If you have a Mac
and iPhoto 4.0.3 or later, you can sync iPhoto albums automatically. If you have a
Windows PC and Adobe Photoshop Album 2.0 or later, or Adobe Photoshop Elements
3.0 or later, you can sync photo collections automatically.
